METAMORPHOSIS

Humans live through profound transitions.

Social unrest, political instability, climate disruption, and the costs of living add pressure in ways that are both undeniable
and subtle.

Today, many of the structures we once relied on are deteriorating, while technological systems scale faster than our capacity to metabolize change. We have confused disconnection, chronic illness, overwhelm, and a loss of meaning for personal failures when, in fact, they are symptoms of a greater imbalance.

Facing fears, questioning the status quo, moving towards integrity, and desiring joy in the midst of it all is not naïve but rather a form of resilience and necessary resistance.

Moreover, embodiment and the ability to think critically while feeling deeply are capacities worth reclaiming; dissociation, bypassing, and unexamined reliance on machines remain unviable strategies.

And though this is the work of the individual, we can’t go at it alone. What emerges instead is a collective invitation.

We, as members of our families, friend groups, and communities at large, are continually called to develop the capacity to adapt without fragmenting. And the call is perpetually heeded; capacity is taking shape, being practiced, and pressure-tested in meaningful ways all around this Earth, always.

This is what we contribute to. This is where our work begins.

METHODS

Consciousness Expansion
Personal practices worth cultivating begin here. With the increased popularity of breathwork, sound healing, and various psychedelic retreats, the often simple yet critical grounding elements of sustainable consciousness expansion become lost in the mix. I offer the following to safely make the most out of perspective-shifting experiences:

  • Meditation Guidance: The design and integration of a daily personal practice. Think adaptive, not aspirational.

  • Preparation and Integration: Teachings on how to enter and navigate the transformational experiences we seek, and then thoughtfully sensemake of what follows. Whether you are a "journeier" or a facilitator seeking support for your individual clients or groups, my collaboration is available.

  • Microdosing Protocols: Guidance on creating and navigating a protocol for a sub-perceptual mood-influencing substance, and thoughtful sense-making along the way.

  • Somatic Guidance: An in-person guided experience intended to tune in to your physical body's deeper intelligence.

      Leadership Development
Three distinct offerings. All are intended to meet you where you are, all are designed to get you somewhere else. The following engagements will take you deep and wide and therefore include weekly one-on-one meetings and additional practices.

      • One on One: A guided process with just enough structure and personal curation to expand your intelligence and shift the place from which you engage with the world. This process has been designed for aspiring and seasoned leaders alike, with the demands of the dynamic political, economic, environmental, and cultural surroundings kept in mind. The goal is to ensure new skills can be implemented where they matter most in your sphere.

      • Small Groups: Intended for groups of eight or fewer who are connected by way of the same organization and are seeking to unite in vision and approach.

      • Thought Partnership for Entrepreneurs: Unstructured time to discuss what is required when holding vision and uncertainty in tandem. Entrepreneurs' decisions and considerations seem endless, and sometimes we need to talk it out. The focus here can range from brass tacks of strategy to relational dynamics, and everything in between.

      Fear and Grief Walking
Life's transitions inevitably bring us into contact with fear and grief—often repeatedly, sometimes all at once. No grief is unwarranted; no fear should be underestimated. I offer preparation for and partnership through the following liminal spaces and more:

      • Creative Blocks
      • Birth and Death
      • Marriage and Divorce
      • Breakups and Breakdowns
      • Career Change and Relocations
      • Legal Matters and Financial Uncertainty
      • Family, Friend, and Colleague Estrangement
      • Acute and Chronic Illness, and Palliative Care

      MICHELLE

For over two decades, I have worked across diverse organizations and alongside thought leaders, status quo disruptors, and creative minds to deepen connections, foster belonging, and scale reach.

With a blend of operational precision and soulful curiosity, I have helped translate big ideas into aligned, tangible impact, harmonizing the practical with the profound so that those with vision can leave indelible imprints on their families, circles of friends, workplaces, local communities, and beyond.

With a foundation in journalism and cultural anthropology, I launched my career at KUT, Austin's NPR affiliate, where I worked alongside legendary radio documentary producer David Brown on the Peabody-winning show Texas Music Matters. I later developed and produced documentary projects with Whole Foods Market and HBO.

My commitment to storytelling and community-building eventually led me to work with conflict resolution facilitator and author Priya Parker (The Art of Gathering). This collaboration led to further partnerships with authors, emerging wellness brands, hospitality groups, organizational development facilitators, brand consultancies, musicians, and visual artists.

All the while, alongside my professional work, I have been engaged in a rigorous inner inquiry—one that began early through teachings from my mother, rooted in the arts, a relationship to the natural world, and a curiosity of spiritual practices. These lessons remain integral to how I listen, observe, and design experiences that invite depth, coherence, and transformation.
In the time since my initial lessons, I have studied under teachers of psychology, body mechanics, politics and public discourse, plant, animal, and psychedelic medicine, business and negotiation communication, meditation, world philosophies, personality typologies, functional medicine, dreamwork, deathwork, and more.

I have devoted myself to understanding how, within individuals, meaning is made and how it shapes the stories we tell, the lives we build, and the bodies we inhabit. And on a collective level, how consciousness shapes culture, and how ritual, presence, and attention can recalibrate shared systems and, ultimately, ways of life.

Today, while continuing my work and studies, I am expanding my focus to include the design and protection of third spaces dedicated to collective learning through humanity's connection to one another and the organic world.

A native Spanish speaker originally from Latin America, I am an immigrant, dance-floor enthusiast, lover of a well-lit room, and a proponent of the outliers.

      MEETING

I am currently accepting new clients, but to determine whether it is the right time to work together, please schedule an initial consultation at no fee.

All of your questions and any curiosities are welcome when we speak. If you have not already, review my Methods page for more details.

Please note that my work is in the delicate space where emotional intelligence meets particular cultural norms—while gentle, it is confronting by nature and design.

To that end, though privacy and harm reduction are paramount in all I do, I am not a licensed healthcare practitioner, nor do I provide medicinal substances of any kind.

And lastly, I work in person whenever possible, and some of my engagements require it. Though I am happy to travel, I can typically be found in Austin or New York City.

      thank you for being here.
